Smoke alarms will chirp every 30-60 seconds, depending on the model, when the batteries get low to let you know to change the batteries. Perhaps the spirit was pulling energy from the batteries in the detector, causing them to go low.

In my experience the green light on it turns red when the batteries are low. I noticed this one stayed green. It may be the model though like you said. It is odd timing though.

Yeah and the green light on the smoke alarm turned off after the ouija board thing at the end.. Oh also earlier in the video when it first started beeping and he looks up at it with the camera not only do you hear the beeped seethe green light on.. but the light on the camera under it got dimmed so i was thinking the same thing that it was pulling power from both of those

Really great episode, best one for me since Jordan left, you did a great job. I totally agree with your assessment and I love the way you approach the spirits/entities here, you don’t freak out or challenge them, you simply try to communicate. I really hope you do go back with a medium, find out more and hopefully get rid of anything negative. The smoke detector usually makes that noise due to low battery. I bet the spirit used it as an energy source, hence why the ovilus started speaking right after the beeping of the smoke detector.

I'm not quite done, but amazing job far! You stay so calm even when you say you're freaking out :) At about -16:32 (damnit the phone will only show how much time is LEFT, not the moment it occurs) when you pan back up to the bottom of the stairs after the Ovilus says your name...it looks like something is there...maybe looking out around the corner...dunno, I have a shit phone for this, but I watched it back a few times and at the very least, there's some sort of distortion. A few things: In the Ouija board video, which set of hands are hers? The hands on the lower right let go/drop off..... Isn't that a HUGE no-no?? If those are her hands, that could explain the attachment to her. Also when you were sitting on the floor in the living room and you mentioned getting touched on the leg, the Ovulis specifically said "caress, skin, lick". On a lighter note, when it said "shoes" while you were in the closet, you got surprised saying "Oh my God, there are shoes in here", I almost spit my drink out!! I mean, DUH. Creepy episode! I've heard my daughter's cat make a similar noise... but that squeaking sounds more like something turning... like when a kid slowly turns a merry-go-round or something is being blown in a circle by the wind like a windmill. My theory is that when Hailey played with the board… they never closed the session properly and when they snapped the board, it caused whatever that was making contact, get really pissed. When Johnny put his hands on the board, the spirit wanted to complete the connection so Johnny could properly close the connection and help whatever darkness that was there leave properly. I really feel that the “dark” energy was just very upset with being stuck there instead of being able to move on else where. The first session was the call and Hailey and her friends hung up without letting who was on the other line hang up too. Just a thought 🤷‍♂️

Real quick :Paranormies" I've been investigating for 20-plus years and cleansing. I don't have a KZbin channel though. LOL nobody wants to watch a 57 year old woman. Haha! Anyway I never let on to Spirit that I am afraid. I will let them know that they startled me and laugh and say thank-you. Aah! you startled me! Can you do that again? I will never let them think that I am actually afraid of Jack schitt. I also do not use foul language around spirit. #1 it's disrespectful. #2 cleansing doesn't work well if I don't have a clear and good mindset. Also I always go in protected no matter what. I protect myself with Native American Sage smoke top to bottom of my shoes. A day or two before I go in I see a priest and get blessed. I grab some fresh holy water while I'm at it. Before I walk into the house I cover myself mentally with the white light of healing, the gold light of my higher power and protection and the purple light of psychic knowing. I say these things inside my mind as I cover myself with sage smoke. Sometimes I will do an American Indian prayer depending on where I am located and what I'm dealing with. It's good to know the area you're working with the history of the area and what kind of religious belief that family or that land has been dealing with.
