Alright, a few tips: If you ever need time to wind up the music box, but one of the old (From the first game) animatronics is about to get you, flash your light at them, it freezes them in place for a bit. Balloon Boy (The guy who keep's on saying "Hi") doesn't attack you, he just disables your lights, enabling Foxy to attack. If the music box gets fully unwound, it's too late for you to do anything. Just sit there and brace for a jumpscare from No Face from Spirited Away. Finally, there are 11 animatronics in total: Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, Mange (Toy Foxy), Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, Balloon Boy, Golden Freddy, and The Marionette (No Face). BTW, this game is a prequel, confirmed by Scott Cawthon.

Tip: When old chica or bonnie appear, put on the mask as fast as you can. The only reason it didn't work the first time because you were on the camera for a while. Instead of winding the box up all the way, try winding up a little, check the hall and vents then wind up some more.

Hint: when you get to nights 3 and up, more animatronics will start to appear. They'll also start appearing right in front of you, sitting on your desk (usually after you check your camera). So, what you do is, right when you see them in front of you, you have to quickly put on the mask. If you take even 2 seconds to put on the mask, you're dead. You have to be really quick(like .05 seconds quick). A helpful way to do this is, right after u check ur camera, put the camera down, then put on ur mask right after, just in case. Also, the guy on the phone said that the mask doesnt really work on Foxy. To get rid of Foxy, you have to flash your flashlight at him. If you put your mask on when he's right by the door, you'll have a higher chance of dying(he'll pop up in front of u). And, check your vents cameras often and turn on the lights by the vents. If theres someone by the vents, put on your mask. The audio also helps out a lot in this game. Golden Freddy might appear on Night 5. His face will show in the middle window when u flash ur light down the hallway. Basically treat him like any other animatronics. He's just a harder animatronic to keep track of, I guess (?). :D

dear quake, The old Characters do still Rome around the game and the trick with them is you have to keep an eye on them and when they get SUPER Close then you must put the mask on and they won't see you but if you wait until they are in the room they would have already seen you and you know you are dead. The white version of foxy is actually the old version because he is LITERALLY Falling to pieces and he was part of the take apart n put together, The old Characters are actually really easy when you get used to the game. This part may become confusing because you are only on the first couple of nights but BEWARE! of the old Characters when they are in the vents especially old foxy!

Whenever "Old" animatronics come, you have 0.5 seconds to put the mask on HOWEVER you have 1 second for new ones, AND BB (Balloon Boy) DOES NOT go away if he's already in the office, BUT you can prevent him from coming by putting on the mask whenever you hear him/when he's in the vent. Also when you get to night 5 and get to have some fun with Golden Freddy, he allows you only 0.2-0.3 to react and put the mask on

just incase you didn't know when the hazard triangle is up that means that some animatronic is coming.. when you see that signal at the corner of your screen go straight to the camera and start playing the music box... that's why you kept dying. the hazard triangle thingy is like a warning. 1. From Night 3 on, you need to put the mask on immediately 2. The mask doesn't work against old Foxy and the Marionette but it works against the rest of them 3. Flashing the light won't work when the animatronic is in the office 4. None of the animatronics are there to help you. This is the basics on the game. Balloon boy is the one who says hi. If anyone shows up in the hallway you need to flash your light at them to make them go away. Balloon boy cannot kill you but if he gets in your room he will disable your lights leading to death mostly by foxy. Please do not get angry if I am wrong but I believe if balloon boy shows up on your left (the stage before he gets into the room) and you quickly put up your mask he goes away. In your later episodes you do what I just said and he went away every time. That may be luck but I believe it works. You guys are getting angry over this but it does work trust me. The mask only works on the old foxy, old bonnie, old chica , old freddy and if you are very quick new bonnie , new chica , new freddy and that's it. Keep the music box would up so the marionette (the puppet) will not kill you. If the ones that come from the sides (not the hall) get in the room then quickly put your mask on. If new bonnie comes into your room I have noticed you flash him to make him go away. But he does not go away permanently only temporarily do not do that unless you want to die. Non of this is false info. 1 mask works with all animatronics except old foxy and the marionette. Foxy you flash the light in his face when he is in the hall. The marionette is the guy who kills you if you don't keep up the music box. 2 note that when your flashlight doesnt work that means animatronic(s) are moving in the hall in front of you. 3 If an animatronic gets in your office put on the mask lightning fast. I suggest that as soon as you put your can down just switch to the mask, just in case. Note that new bonnie, chica and mangle can be seen with the vent lights, if you see them put on the mask. However mangle and new chica can appear in the hall too. 4 balloon boy only comes from the left vent. New bonnie only comes from the right. Hope this can help you
