I enjoyed these stories, except for the last one. It might just be me, but when a story brings up that they practice witchcraft, they see spirits, they talk to spirits, I just lose interest. I can't help but roll my eyes and it becomes impossible to take the story seriously. Most were still good.

Just no. No. Edit: This story is long, and in it, the narrator makes it clear that he effectively lived at these peoples' house for over a year. They took him in when he had family problems, which is amazing, and he spends his time in their house snooping through their stuff multiple times and silently judging their lifestyle and religious practices. Just freaking incredible. Don't be like this guy.

Well I’d like to first point out financial stability says absolutely Nothing about your capacity to be a caring, thoughtful, and loving friend. Secondly being addicted to something that is by definition addicting, doesn’t make you a bad person, nor does having bad anxiety. If anything I’d think someone who is so anxiety riddled all the time probably cares more than most about more things. There is no direct correlation, however it seems as if that would make more sense. I find the fact you used the word you opposed to him very odd an interesting. It was like you were using his perceived lapses in judgment and personality flaws as a way to show how me as someone Not invested in these peoples lives or the outcome of them at all is somehow wrong. Even if he is a piece of shit for those reasons you simply cannot point to them and say because this is true about him, it also applies to me for sticking up for him.
