Indian spirits are VERY real. I lived on Copper Axe Trail in Tallahassee Fla. I came back from the woods where several Indian mounds were at. When returning, my neighbor asked me if I let the dog get on those mounds. After I said yes, he told me that I would first see a black bird watching me. Then I would have a visitor. So I was like, okay I just moved next to a wacko. Two days later, what he said was absolutely true. A black bird high up in a dead pine tree, that didn't move a muscle, kept looking at me when I was standing in the yard. So I darted around the other side of the house, hoping to catch this bird off guard. When I quickly looked around the corner, this damn bird was already looking at me, again, no movement AT ALL. That night I was working on a proposal in this home. While working, the chair was pushed forwards about 4 inches or so. So I thought it was my dog. After looking back, no dog. I got up and went to the living room, and there was my dog, laying down with his head between his paws, looking down the long hallway GROWLING! Trust me, my dog was super intelligent, and I know he saw something. I had to literally drag him down the hallway, but I didn't sense or see anything. The next day coming home, I took the dog outside to let him do his business. He took a a few steps and then fell to his side in pain. After taking him to the emergency vet, he told me that the dog had been kicked in the growing, which caused a hernia. If that spirit could push my chair, obviously it was kicking my dog while I was at work. I moved out of that house within a month! I know what I experienced, and being a skeptic all my life, I am not anymore. By the way, how in the world did my neighbor know this was going to happen? I never was able ask him or his wife, as they were on an overseas trip, as I was packing! So all you naysayers out there, let me tell you, THEY ARE REAL

Neither would I, and I lived peacefully in the raised ranch my grandparents, mom,, her three brothers lived in, next to a people's cemetary, no problems! I don't know if it is an Indian burial ground. My maternal grandparents deliberately built it next to the cemetary. No "Poltergeist" issues. They had a pool(in-ground) on the other side of the house.

I started to believe all this stuff was nonsense, especially the ghost shows on TV, which I still believe are nonsense or highly embellished. But I got a wake-up call after taking a nursing job in a treatment facility that was converted from a farmhouse built in the early 1900s. I worked the 3rd shift and was responsible for doing the medical record checks in a small room in the lowest part of the building. The occurrences took place between 6/2009 and 9/2010 and usually happened between 12:30 and 3:00 am. When I interviewed there, even those in top management told me not to worry if I hear or see strange things as they are all benevolent. When I asked who was benevolent, they replied the spirits. I literally thought this was a joke they would play on new nurses. When I first started hearing doors open and close and stuck my head out the door to find no one there, I even brushed it off as being tired from working nights. But when I started to hear something beckon to me and footsteps that came right up to my door with no one there, it scared the hell out of me. At least after talking with other nurses, I realized I wasn't going crazy as the ones who worked nights down there also had occurrences. There were many things that happened that are too numerous to mention. Not saying it was ghosts; but I don't know what the hell it was. And being educated in the sciences, I still have no answers.

I had previously lived in two actively haunted houses. In the first house, I was attacked by a demon and saved by my ghostly guardian, who later came with me into the second haunted house. I had few troubles there. Then my guardian pacified its ghosts there and because of him and his stories about me, they took well to me, (quietly) took good care of me under their roof. He was such a very charming conversationalist that they had to keep him with them by allowing me to stay in their house.

Moved into new house 10 years ago. Dad said lights came on by themselves. Next year, on 2 occasions I was in my bed reading at night & heard something moving under my bed. Once I even felt & heard the sheets moving. My little sister said at dawn she was in bed, she saw & felt the corner tilt down as if somebody was sitting on it, but nobody or nothing was there. Since then, I have had some strange and scary dreams, but no other unexplained activity has been present in our now 23 year old house.

I grew up in Southbury Ct. My parents had a brand new house built and it was where I saw my first ghost. When they were digging the foundation they found an indian arrowhead - who knows if it was a hunters arrowhead or if it was an indian war or a long ago murder. I grew up basically in fear to be alone in the house. I had vivid dreams - so vivid I could talk to my parents while still in the dream state. Lots of snakes, bees & a ghost of an older transparennt gentleman dressed in a 3 piece suit.

@Tiesto20121 When I was a kid, we used to lease a piece of farmland that was a old indian burial ground. The ground was covered with old fragments of bone. We knew it was an indian burial ground because it was about a hundred yards from the river and we occasionally found arrow heads in the area where the bone fragments covered the ground. Since we were just little kids we used to make a game of collecting the bone fragments that was until my mom got mad at use and made us leave them be.

where is this? I'll never forget the new block of houses my family moved into when I was in high school. I swear that house was evil but the parents never believed us. Everyone else on that dead end block suffered and moved away. Sickness, death, suicide, divorce, alcoholism... you name it, all in 2 years. Every house on that block suffered. The land used to be a corn field, but being in an area where Native Americans used to roam, who knows what it could have been long ago.

Tell me about it. I had previously lived in two actively haunted houses where hauntings in both were of opposite kinds. There were a lot of activities in both houses; water taps turning on by themselves, doors opening and shutting, unseen hands tapping on surfaces, beds moving, snatches of ghosts' conversations in rooms, etc. I have seen different types of ghosts. Some evil and dangerous. Some were good, caring and protective; and some were in-between. They all have their own personalities. .

Lady, I have few experiences with ghosts. I have nice ones living with us at family home - family ghosts who've been looking in and checking in on us - and my guardian too. By accident, I discovered a ghostly guardian by my side in 1990s: he came to my defence when I was attacked by an evil spirit in a haunted rented house. Whenever I have troubles with strange hauntings or find myself in danger, I always call the very one ghost who unfailingly protects me.

It's a shame a beautiful home like this was left to go to hell. I'm sure it was stunning in it's hayday. We redid an 1886 Folk Victorian but redoing is not restoration. We kept what was in good shape and used modern materials for the rest. The upkeep on a restored building is very expensive these days. Still, you will never see homes built like this again so if you get a chance to fix one with good bones, I think it's worth it. :o)

I've been seeing ghosts since before I could talk. My mom told me I used to talk to something in the corner of the room. Then when I was 2 I saw the spirit of a murdered woman with blood all over her and my mom said she felt uneasy in the room. At my old house something used to tap on the walls. And now sometimes something hops in the car with my mom and I when were driving but it disappears when he hit the stop sign or the cemetery. but it hasn't happened lately.

Not necessarily. My first home had some odd creepy happenings and at first you try and find an explanation for it all untill the awful realisation that it it something beyond your understanding. We put our home up for sale and 2 years later we still hadn't sold it and so we moved out and left it empty with the "For Sale" sign up which leaves it vunerable to squatters. We eventually rented the house for six months and during this time we sold it after an unbelievable 3 long years.

What I know is what we saw in "chapel" in the army because most of our chaplains were catholic and lots of my buddies were going for their religion. Have you ever felt like you are not alone although no one else is in the room with you. this is a common experience especially in living spaces like hotels and old houses that have been left abandoned for a while. One of the most instant and effective protection is to recite OM BENZA WIKKI BITANNA SOHA. This sound protects you and harness the positive energy from the surrounding for blessings. It is good to be familiar with this phrase so that you are able to recite in times of panic.

The chance that a ghost is haunting that house carries just as much probability that a invisible spoon is going round shoving people. And his friend, Mr stereo is playing music in peoples basements. Seriously guys? Don't come to conclusions too quickly. We don't even know if this is real. Do your research if you want to come to the most honest answer you can find.
