i was one of the lucky few who got to see him when he was in boston. funny little story... i didn't have a ticket but the concert wasn't going on too far away from where i live so i drove to the area because i didn't have plans that night on the 10th. So i walked by the club he was playing at, the owner of the club walks out at that exact moment to smoke a cigarette and i ask him about the concert and tell him how the tickets sold out so quickly, he must have been in a good mood and he let me in, for free and i got to experience the concert. it was a night i wont forget any time soon

And many months after the fact, I can say you will probably never see such an intimate performance by him again. You were so fortunate! I saw him in the front row last fall in Boulder, CO. As amazing as it was, he didn't even make eye contact with us in the front row and wasn't that interactive.

It's such a different atmosphere when nobody is filming; everybody is _actually_ there, connecting by being consciously in the moment. When you're filming, your mind is elsewhere, in the future when you will use or look at the footage. From what I've heard, I believe artists prefer people to not be distracted by filming. Though the videos help them, too, of course.

Sunny M You don’t have to download an app or join Instagram to just read the posts. That way you can see the information and just call or email whoever you need to for tickets. Just reading & listening to his posts on IG is incredible! He even edits anime to some of his music - he’s outrageously talented in multiple ways. I finally did sign up for IG, but I was reading & hearing his posts for a long time before I did that. You don’t even need a phone - you could do it from a computer, even one at a library or a friend’s. (Just FYI in case you’re someone who isn’t into technology. I don’t even have a TV, so I’m one of those. Joining IG was a bizarre deal for me.)
