Fabulous just fabulous too see it seems all coalitions are doing good, prosperous & alive at that. But my "horse"'is Mohawk/! I'm so stoked & loving to see/hear he is more than likely doing what Notch did in the past & forming a coalition w/ his is 4 sons. Skorro? The Tumbela male lion? I he is the last Tumbela male lion. Or the Orphen male lion? Sorry I am confused to who is the Skorro male lion? I think and would like to see the Tsalala lionesses to join the Othowa or the Kambula lioness with the Kambula male lions, the Othowa lioness seem to be more aggressive now and territorial. The Kambula young lioness hopefully can one day return to her pride.
@private4918
@private4918 Жыл бұрын
@@ochoaguillermo638 Yeah. From what I know, the actual "brother" of the Orpen-Skorro hasn't been seen since the early months of '21. There has been only one "Skorro" male in Sabi Sands, who came from the "Skorro" pride up there. And that's NOT Skorro Jr. (Tumbela), who came from either Nharu or possibly the Mbiri pride, most likely Nharu. Open Jr. came from the actual Skorro pride, sired by the Open males, I think probably Buddy, but we don't know that for sure. It's too bad that Kambula sister with her brothers had such a mean attitude toward Tsalala in the months after the previous Tsalala lioness was murdered. But she and her brothers have been in the northeast quadrant and might be headed for KNP pretty soon. The Ottawas have probably inherited much from their fierce father. Too bad the 3rd one to survive "takeover" last year was apparently caught and killed by the Birmingham pair, probably.

Yes they might. They've been up north in Mala Mala near the KNP border with their sister still in tow. KNP can provide lots of opportunities to young males who have the numbers and bonding. In Sabi Sands, it's better to have unrelated pairs and trios of males keeping the gene pool healthier. By now, many of the Sabi Sands lionesses are descended from at least one, and many of these even two or three, of the infamous male coalitions of the past 15-20 years.

@@roverbett3858 I think they've been in Londolozi, most recently. They were following a buffalo herd, in the southern half of Sabi Sands, the Nkuhuma male is there too, probably, seen around Umkumbi a week or so ago. He's got no lionesses/pride with him there, but the Kambulas could still kill him if they catch him again.

Hey Scar Chan, absolutely fantastic vid and update, those 2 Black Dam males are 2 good looking kings, and with the 4 sub adult following their father in northern Avoco, hey could we be a further coalition much like Notch and his sons?? It’s exciting to think, the father was in good health, these type of vids are my fav, for this reason, we get to see not only the up and coming Lions, but most important to me, every single one of these Lions look to be “”very”” healthy, the lioness their cubs, and to see the good numbers of different coalitions and all of them this healthy, means the world to me, it is setting the future for some VERY good Lion blood lines, Sabi Sands is a special place to me, as well as KNP, I know this may sound odd or different than some comments, but it just makes my heart smile to see so many HEALTHY and Thriving Lions in S Africa! Thank you my friend, Plez keep up your work! Again great vid

Interesting the dominant males lions of the Kambula pride was shown roaring; while the comment was they are in their prime, and that is true. If those were the dominant male lions of the Kambula pride, their presences is pretty confident they are in their prime and out of all the male lions I do believe they are their best and in their peak. Their roars were very confident and very sure of themselves. They seem to be worried about their territory and pride and cubs.

Yes they seem to me in an even better situation or similar that the Birmingham’s were not that long ago. When it was just Tinyo and Nehena I don’t know I am not sure, but they may had have been a bit older or the same age, but they were and had more pressure and fights from the northern Avocas , the Othowa male lion then the dominant male lions of the Kambulas today. I feel and would like for them to be with the Kambulas so all their cubs can get to adults; I think they can they are very sure of themselves and impressive out of all the roars they seem to be the most sure of themselves and they even seem a bit aggressive and ready and willing to fight if necessary; it must be because they know other lions are around and the fights they had with the males in the southern pride. It would be nice if their cubs made and their brothers cubs that are no longer with them.

@@ochoaguillermo638 The Kambula Coalition may be the "Next Big Thing". I want to try to follow them and hope nothing happens to any of them. Nhenha spent many days training and coaching them. Do you know in what year/s these four guys were born?

yea most of the dominant coalitions in sabi sands are duos and lone males while younger nomadic coalitions like the Kambulas, Nkuhumas, and Nkhulus have the numbers.

Great video. 1) What could be the Best possible scenario for tumbela & nkhuma ? 2)Matimba bloodline would return if solo male suceed 3) can mohawk leave sabi sand with her sons and leave nkhuma to BDM's?

I think the Nakuhuma male lion will do better with the Talamatie male lions and maybe or hopefully the plain camp male lion joins them the son of the Southern Avocas and then they would be 4 young male lions. I think the Tumbela male lion may not be interested in joining the Nakuhuma male lion. I think that would be good and interesting if they can leave into Kruger and be successful I think it would be better for them; like the 4 Kambulas male lions. I wonder what happens if they see their two older brothers.

Have you seen the Young Birmingham Male with a white sister who just a cub or more and he’s 4-5yrs old and he and his sis were with The Ross two brothers who ran off an original Birmingham male who sired them , He was either a single pride protecter or just alone when the Ross brother two ran off his dad, They had sibling but TB got them, The young Birmingham male was with this pride either on the outside or when the pride would go into two groups often and he outsmarted the Ross brothers offer and showed Birmingham size and fortitude to resilience, In many situations , Around ten hyenas gave him all they could one night with a partial kill of his or ? And a couple more even showed up at dawn , He was next to a lil suckling tree and never let their antics dazzle him much , He was amazing in the character he displayed , Being finally sick of the in and out with the Ross brothers nearing 10-11 yrs old and he at 4 yrs or or a bit more and was seen with the single nomadic same age or a tad younger Torchwood male and they seemed fine together , They needed each other , Last time I saw them they were in a thick area near a road zig zagging chasing hyenas ! It was so cool in this tree and thick grass area , Been awhile and I need a site that covers them or anyone with knowledge on them , TYB Male got the name Osindile he been gone by to as the young Birmingham male , Be so cool if anyone has info or ? Thanks for your videos there great in detailing the dynamics in Sabi Sands ! I hope you may know or anyone does ? Appreciate in sincerely if anyone can let me know anything ! Thanks again for the great updates too ! Kevin

Well, the Southern/Selati pride is still doing well, all 3 cubs in the latest video with the oldest lioness. Remember, one of the daughters recently gave birth to at least one cub. She was seen with the cub in her mouth. She's really too young, probably, to have a litter of 3 healthy cubs. So ....
