To explain how folde gain his vargant form, when he fell into the ocean the second time in the normal route, he had the shadow crystal on him , allowing the ocean to use the crystal to transform folde into his vargant form. In this weird route kris knock folde into the ocean but without the shadow crystal, instead the ocean use the victim it had drown to transform folde into his VENGEANCE form.

This goes hard I really like the idea of a weird route fight being the shadow boss merging into every darkner felled in the chapter, it's unnerving which is good

A concept I have for post fight would be Folde being put on 1 HP. Folde realizes this might be the end for him, and calls out to his family for help, commenting on how he wished he never found that crystal, and that he loves them with all of his heart. He realizes that they died to the Ink Ocean as well, and starts crying. Kris automatically slices Folde, and the Ink Ocean simply drops him into itself, killing the poor child. After that, Kris tries to fight the Ink Ocean itself, but none of their attacks work at ALL. Susie quickly arrives with Ralsei onto the scene, with both of them commenting on how giant the thing is, and unaware of Kris' actions. Susie tells Kris to get the hell out of there, since she and Ralsei gathered up the remaining survivors, and the trio flee the battle. An overworld bullet hell section plays out, where various platforms collapse as the Ink Ocean tries to drown everyone. The three quickly make it to the fountain with the remaining survivors, as the Ink Ocean is going to get to them. Luckily, the fountain is sealed JUST in time, as Kris and Susie make it to the light world. Susie talks about how she and Ralsei didn't expect a flood to happen all of a sudden, and that she's glad that Kris was okay. Susie also comments about how she saw something fall into the ocean...

Folde confront kris alone During the middle gameplay of this route , he didn't fight Kris and tell Kris that whatever they're doing to rise the ocean , they have to stop. But Kris keeps stepping forward each time folde tries to convince Kris, eventually pushing folde to the edge forcing folde to fight kris with everything he had but he was easily defeated, with one last hit take out of folde hp, kris knock folde off the edge sending folde to the ink ocean but since folde didn't have the shadow crystal and him he can't turn into his VARGANT form, so the ink ocean just slowly drag the boy down as he scream for helo eventually drowned. When the ink ocean return in the final fight folde was there but he's no longer him, just a shell , a meat shield the ocean use to shield itself when Kris attack it , eventually Kris destroy folde , disabling the ocean meat shield allowing them to face the ocean itself, of course the ocean cannot be stopped even after destroying it from, it will just came back and continue fighting, Susie and Ralsei arrive just in time as they all run from the ocean to seal the fountain.

Based on what I've gathered, it seems that this darkworld is centered around the art classroom. The secret boss is actually based on a crumpled piece of paper. I believe that Folde represents the concept of discarded or unimportant information, possibly a drawing that Asriel created. It could be a "poorly-drawn design for a game" or even a "creature with giant rainbow wings." I think Asriel threw it away out of embarrassment. This theory is mainly based on the song, the gamejolt page, and some concept art of Folde. Also i heard Toriel leitmotif in this song, maybe the drawing had something to do with Toriel.

Darkworld: Art classroom Secret boss: Folde lightworld object is a Crumpled piece of paper dipped in ink, what was drawn on him was a mystery, but it was discarded and thrown away. The ink Ocean: The Ink Ocean is a looming entity sitting at the bottom of this Darkworld, Darkner who fell into it never returns, in Normal route Folde is just an oblivious pawn for it to use to lure Kris into it lair. it motivation, Unknown. In weird route, here we are.

@@GlazkolectaThis is awesome, one thing I loved about the concept of the weird route is that the final boss isn't fighting you to avenge everyone who died or because he's some horrible being who's just taking advantage of the shit you're doing to be able to benefit, but as you said, a force of nature, which the moment it is released cannot be contained or stopped, would only continue to devastate everything in its path, we are practically fighting a tsunami here. (By the way, sorry for any mistakes in English or grammar, I'm Brazilian and terrible when it comes to punctuation).

@@GlazkolectaI have to say that of all the ways to end a weird chapter route, fighting a ctchulu made of ink after he absorbs the souls of the damned while he possesses an 11 year old boy is definitely not what I was expecting. I also thought it was brilliant that this creature is similar to an anglerfish, a fish that lives in the depths of the ocean and attracts its prey with the bioluminecent organ on its head as if it where bait, and here this creature uses Folde as a bait to "hook" us right at it, just like the anglerfish. (Again, sorry for any errors this comment may have and just out of curiosity, did you know that only female anglerfish have the bioluminecent organ in their heads? Strange, right 👀)?

@@PedroLopesdeAndrade the ink ocean is USING folde to lure us to it even at the normal route so yes the angler fish design is intention ,fun fact in this battle the ink ocean use folde as a meat shield so whenever you hit it, folde will take the hit instead , until he's dead.

@emanuel585 yeah, for some reason and/or way, you're is making the ocean get more violent, dronwing people in areas. I'm not sure, but I think you're pushing the darkners in it.
