Today's course was significantly better than yesterday's, which required us to look at cones a lot. Before entering the first slalom during my fifth run, the CVT decided to select the wrong "gear", costing me precious time. I used the paddles to upshift to second gear, thinking it was still in first gear. I was also having the same problem yesterday. Sometimes, the CVT (when in manual mode) will shift like a normal automatic transmission, and sometimes it doesn't.
Regardless of this minor setback, I somehow still managed to make this my fastest run of the day. One thing I probably could have done better was only lifting off the throttle instead of tapping the brake at 0:31.
