Abraham pbuh was neither a Jew nor a Christian. Islam unlike other religion labels is a word being a verb of the Arabic language. Arabic being symmetrical language is very powerful and one word when translated into English it takes sentence or sentences to translate. Islam a verb ie an action means submitting your will to God. The one who submits his/her will to God is doing Islam as remember Islam is a verb. The one who does Islam is called a Muslim. Whenever we come across conflicting opinions about the gospel truths, it's important to remember that God is not the cause of confusion, but of peace. (1 Corinthians 14:33). Reading the Bible will reveal that it is confusing. Many unambiguous statements in it (contrary to the Quran). In the Bible, it is necessary to assume that Jesus is God based on unambiguous verses. To achieve that, you have to ignore many clear statements from Jesus, clearly saying that the only true God is the Father. A rational mind would conclude that if the word “Only” is used, then the other gods are not true. Simple logic!!
