April 2024 SCDRP Monthly Partnership Meeting:
FIMAN: Flood Inundation Mapping Alert Network for the State of North Carolina
We heard from Derek Frohbieter, the Flood Inundation and Alert Mapping
Network (FIMAN) Manager for the State of North Carolina. FIMAN is a statewide network of Federal, State, County and municipal stream gauges. The goal of FIMAN is to serve inundation information and alerts to the residents of North Carolina and provide early warning to potential hazards for emergency management personnel.
