Jordan joins Phil on the podcast to discuss the break-ups of Thrice and Thursday, the reunions of Refused and At The Drive-In, how their tour went with Balance And Composure, All Get Out, and Sainthood Reps, which writers and artists Jordan finds inspiring, the risks of making permanent art, what he's most looking forward to about being home, and other great bands from Michigan.

Sure bro! It's John Darnielle, he's the lead singer of a very cool Folk band called "The Mountain Goats". Very cool music, I'd actually recommend them to any La Dispute fan on here. Here's a link as well to one of my personal favorite songs. John Darnielle has also published two books, as far as I know. One about Black Sabbath and another only available on 30 September 2014. Get excited! Cheers!

What's the name of the first author he mentions (6.21)? Can't understand it :( Great interview, by the way! The questions are really interesting.

Those 3 bands gave up because they realized a band who was opening for them was better than they were and realized there was nothing else to work towards.

Hahaha, that actually made me audibly laugh. It's so uncomfortable to listen to with headphones on. Great interview though.
