Look don’t tell others what to do. I watched it in dubbed because I couldn’t connect with the show. Part of the reason was the lack of character development in Season 1. The dubs made things a little easier to understand as well.

Could we please note that this is a great scene that was shot in one go without a cut. All the actors are right on the spot. Especially in the original language.

English speaker here too but I could be never watch it like that either. The character's personalities are in the sound of their voices. It's like watching different actors who just look like the actors in dark.

This is the first time I've ever seen Dark in the dubbed version and wow, damn it totally sucks. The whole sense of atmosphere has been sucked out of the scene. The American voices are so annoying and lacking in naturalistic style. Its only a voice-over but it completely ruins the scene. For foreign language shows like this, especially Dark, you should always watch with the original language & audio with English subtitles. Never dubbed. This is a great example of why dubbed sucks!
