Спасибо за интересный сетап. Скажи, сейчас, спустя некоторое время, продолжаешь ли ты использовать ноды синемы или забросил? Лично я, поигравшись, уткнулся в ограниченность функционала, начиная посматривать в сторону geometry nodes блендера, Гудини пока трогать неохота.

This is great! I am trying to select a parametric object based on a gradient, so for example I can hide polygons based on a node based selection and control exactly where polygons will be deleted based on my gradient. Do you have an idea on how to achieve that?

хотели сделать аналог гудини, но походу в лучшем случае будет аналог geometry nodes из Блендера. в 2023 про них чет уже и не вспомнили.

@@peterlange9664 use fields. Just drop the different selections into the fields section of a third selection tag and then use the different layer blend methods to add/subtract or cross sect the selections.

Kind of. But It still tech preview with a lot of limitations. As for me is not production ready

I think with their next "S" release, it will be even more fleshed out and more than likely a big point they will try and make to get more people to start using the new system and then with the following release "R27" they will have a more final version of the scene nodes system. I am happy to see more and more people using scene nodes and making tutorials! I did this in a Geometry Modifier Group and it acts the same as a deformer. That way you don't have to bake down your mesh and plus you can that add what ever mesh to it! I look forward to more tips and exploration in the Scene Nodes system! 😁🙌😊

@@JeromeLove Yes. It would be great if Maxon will update the scene nodes. Btw. How do you use geo modifier group? I’ve started from it. But “edge to line” node doesn’t work in geometry modifier group.

@@subframestudio I believe Noseman has a tutorial that goes over this and I believe he shows how it's done. I was able to get the splines to translate by using a: "Geometry Modifier Group > Spline Primitive Group > The node system similar to yours for Noise Selection > Edge to Line > Sweep Line with a N Side to sweep" Then you just make it a child of a shape and it will sweep the edges. I'm sure someone could expand more on this but I also think things will get simpler in later updates!
