My Grandparents and Parents were from Rotan. My Mom and Dad went to high school, The Yellow Hammers, I believe.

It has changed a lot since I lived there way back when. I am retired now living far away but I do go back to visit occasionally however all of my family that lived there moved away as I did when they were young and all the older ones have passed away. Thank you for this video. Brings back many memories of my childhood.👍😎

I'm from Rotan but now living 600 hundred miles south in south Texas my parents live just just 2 blocks east from the house where the video starts and stops, wish you could have shown all of Rotan but its still nice for sharing the video. Thanks brings back lots of memories.

Espero en Dios volver a este pueblito que tanto amé y que aún lo amo
Thanks for the drive down memory lane. I moved there from Abilene, my 3rd grade year back in 78 I think. My mom married the guy who's parents owned the Dairy Queen. Many memories of running there after school for my burger and shake before doing my "job" of sweeping, weighing the fries and recording the gas pump meter. Moved the next year to Odessa. Fond memories of hanging at DQ and "flirting" with the HS girls that worked there. Goodbye from Galveston...
