Not so much 12 places but 11 large areas covering the bulk of the North Island and one “place” Blue Springs”, not sure why you singled that one out !! Hobbiton is a lot closer to Hamilton than Rotorua btw. How did you pick your top 12 , that would be interesting to know 😀

Agree with most spots selected, but the coverage of things to see in these areas misses the mark. Cable car Wellington, Ferry to Waiheke from Auckland another. While Pukekura Park in New Plymouth was mentioned, it deserved a bit of camera footage. Gisborne shouldnt rate a mention, too far away from everything. Napier is Art Deco capital deserves a little footage and mention.

Some top places shown here in your 12... nice work. However, no way would I rank Auckland city in the 12, let alone number 1 billing. One of the most overpriced cities in the world to live in, and the highways leading both north and south of it are jam packed every long weekend or holiday period with vehicles escaping the place. Some other great destinations include the Bay of Islands, Tauranga/Mt Maunganui, Mt Ruapehu/Tongariro, East Cape area...

All our beaches are free like Piha, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in NZ, Auckland has wonderful nature places, never mind the concrete jungle

Some excellent drone footage of some great spots. I could easily come up with another Top 12, though. This brief tour was ruined by the awful AI voiceover that managed to mangle two languages, often in the same sentence!
