Talking about questions that arose this week: Is there such a thing as someone's perfect fragrance? Do we want perfumes as life partners, or as good friends? What happens when your favourite fragrance is discontinued? Is it justified to buy a "dupe" - and how we found out this week that a bunch of charlatans were pretending to fake most of the world's indie brands but were actually faking the fakery. We talk about how to survive trade shows, and smell Revlon's Moon Drops and I tell the story of how Guy de la Bedoyere inspired our 7 Crimes of Passion series and in which neither or us could remember all seven. Then we mention our next crowdfunding project and finish on how "get rich quick" schemes don't really exist, especially in perfumery and writing, and why we need to have hobbies for enjoyment and not for making money. The last 30 seconds is probably the best bit.
