Scentsy Empties, Life Update and a Big Rant

I buy kasa plugs from Amazon and put some of my warmers on timers and set them to to start an hour before I get home from work so i get to walk in the door and smell the loveliness 😊

lol, I use the Kasa plugs too. Recently with the power plan changes, I’ve even added the TV and components so I can shut off their power without having to unplug them. For my husband’s sake, I have the tv power restored at certain times since the Alexa app is only on my phone. 😆

Oh they know! Lacey said in a recent End Of Month Live that they were working on the spring catalog and she was gunning to add Provence lavender and Jammin Jubilee so they knew 1-2 months ago what’s coming back next year

I hope that Zena is still on the mend. Its tough when our fur babies get sick. For us its horses, dogs and barn cats. ( yes my barn cats too) Sometimes they get upset stomachs just like us, but they can't tell us whats going on.😟 White Sands is my jam, LOVE IT. I think I am down to 2 bars too. Peach and White Amber is so pretty and it takes me back to 2018. I loved that scent. Sidenote, Iove dusting with Pledge, I love the smell of it and cleaned and dusted as kids too. Such great memories. However, Lemon Lavender and I dont get along😅 Thanks for sharing .😊❤🥰

Awwweeee, sorry to hear that you and lemon lavender didn’t get along. I wish the BBMB were available as like special orders - even if it meant you had to wait a little longer for them to pour it and ship. One month just isn’t enough time for me. Pick a group of BBMB and make them available for a catalog season available only as one of the Club Perk items.

I agree it would be better if they let us know what was leaving so we could make informed decisions on what we wanted to club! It’s so much unnecessary work to try to put everything in and take everything out when the seasons transition!

Hi, Edda. I agree with you 100% that it would be nice if Scentsy was transparent with scents that they know will be coming back the following season. Especially in this economy. 😅I recently cancelled my club And will just enjoy when I decide to purchase. I really enjoy listening to your videos and I hope your fur baby gets to feeling back to herself. After all, to all the animal lovers, they are our fur children and are very dear .

Yes 💯 agree with you. Just tell us what's leaving and not coming back. It's hard to decide what to keep in my clubs. I can't save catalog bars so I just put in lots because I know they are not coming back

Yep, if I knew for sure what wasn’t coming back, I would probably even be more strategic with figuring out how many of each scent to add - maybe 1 of a couple and 2 or 3 of a favorite.

Sippimg poolside was so strong for me. I get straight laundry soap. I immediately took it out of my club. I loved it on cold. I wish i would have clubbed grape granita. That was my first scentsy scent ❤ I like buzzworthy but forgot to club it. Lol I fell for the same trap with wax with KZbinrs. One was the Sanderson sisters and the other was olaf warm hugs. Yuck for both of those 😂

I did enjoy Rum Pum Plum last Fall, but I hated the mess it left in my warmers - had to clean them with alcohol after using it. Gotta weigh whether I want to deal with that this season.

I remember hearing you say that you don’t like it, and I was like “YEAH, Natalie is with me on this one”. We tend to be the minority on that one, but I have had people comment to me that they don’t like it either on a video a long time ago.

I could care less if you have zero clubs or hundred. So I don't horde wax, I don't have a club. Scentsy is always coming out with new waxs to try. So, I just buy when I need more wax or there's a collection I really want. I have an area where I keep my wax & once that's full no more until there's space. This helps me not to over spend on wax. Also I enjoy lightning candles. This helps me save on energy. Also, I don't have my warmers on all day. I never have them on when I'm not home. I don't do warmers in bedrooms, b/c we aren't in there enough to enjoy the scent. Why waste wax when you are sleeping & can't enjoy it. When I use my warmers or a candles I don't have them going all day. I don't want to get nose blind to a certain scent. Some days I have nothing going, b/c I'm gone all day. Also, I have a small place which means I use less. This is what works for me.

Yeah, I feel you on the frustration of clubbing between catalogs. They're definitely doing it on purpose- they want those guaranteed sales-, but it's going to throw off people's buying habits afterwards, which is going to change what's available and what isn't. I guess if people warm a LOT then it wouldn't change their buying habits too much so idk.

Maybe if I hadn’t overspent in the first couple of years and had a more manageable inventory - as I type, I think nope - yes, I’ve overspent, but I just can’t, at 59 with retirement in the next few years, convince myself to have a large dollar club. I’ve reached the point where I need to start watching my pennies and I have to admit, it’s not fun when there’s so many great scents.

I've heard of a club hack (haven't tried it yet) where you change shipping frequency in the month that it's supposed to ship and then change it back to the old frequency and supposedly it resets it so it's not counted as a skip. I don't know if you have bars that you'd be heartbroken if they counted it as cheating as just dropped the club or something but I always kind of figured that Scentsy knows whatever loopholes people have found and are ok with it. I honestly don't need that much wax and have wished they'd offer an annual club! I may try it out some time but so far- since I found out about that "hack" "have wanted whatever wax I have in there when it's supposed to ship. Metallica mom has a video where she does it if you want to search it up on youtube.

Nope ☹️ I had one under my email that I used before even becoming a consultant, then Larry’s email and finally later I added one using my consultant email address. I was told it all had to be merged into my consultant email address - couldn’t even have one under Larry. Technically I don’t think they knew about Larry’s but since I figured someone told on me, I didn’t want them coming back later saying I didn’t disclose about Larry and possibly kicking me out, so I disclosed and they said I couldn’t have that one. Possibly because he’s my spouse so they figured it’s basically the same as me. I still don’t get it, as I still don’t see the harm, unless it was about limiting my half price items.

They counsel us not to buy too much and prioritize our families, but “force” us to load up our clubs with scents they know are returning. I do use air quotes because I realize that the ultimate decision is mine. It’s just frustrating - they say they want to help but then they don’t. It’s still a business 🤨
