It's a shame he doesn't have another ritual in the sideboard considering if he had one there he would've instantly killed Jonathan game 1 after the Ad Nauseam.

I think the main problem with that plan is that it makes it so that you can have less rituals mainboard, so it would dilute the deck

i could kill with a past in flames on game 1. big mistake because with ad nauseam he lets his opponent at 1 hp ....

How? You have 8 mana floating, you wish for past in flames, cast past in flames. Rite of flame then Dark ritual up to 3 black, 2 red. You then only have tutors in your yard and no way to generate additional mana to you fizzle. The Ad Nauseum line was the only one that worked. Cook was fairly unlucky to miss on any ritual effect or an LED/Petal

You even lose one of the rituals to deathrite shaman if thats the route youre taking.
