Once again, I have to ask why you feel the need to use music instead of using the incredible noises that the mechanism produces? Going through a perfect echo chamber demands a recording. The sound of the lower gate opening and closing, the drops of water as the lower gate opens. These are just magical moments so why would you want to put music in their place? I've worked on the canal for 10 years and I've gone through Réchicourt lock on many occasions. The sounds that the lock creates are greater than any music.

on the original video you hear mostly the talking of the people on the boats in the lock - and therefore music was the better option
