he was always a great and smart player, but that physical change he went through, just gives him an edge over anybody in the field. He reminds me of Matthaus, very skillfull and aware and an absolute unit in defense. Hope he can stay healthy his whole carreer, it is a joy watching him and Kimmich devour the midfield.
