Great review of the guitar. What reviews are supposed to be instead of some reviews where the player wants to show how good of a player they are. Bla Bla Bla ! Stumbled on one of these guitars recently at GC. I am a charvel lover and player. I also have a American Strat elite. On strats I dislike where they put the volume knob. I always have to move it down so my little finger doesn’t hit it. I seen this Schecter used at guitar center , tried it and loved it. Used $600 plus tax I think it’s a good deal. Great review 👍🎸

all the ones currently on sweetwater are under 8lbs except for one. and that one is only 2 oz over.

I got mine the same color and model but there's the hum on almost every position (except for the n. 4 close to the bridge) that I can't get rid of it. It there a problem of my circuit or common stuff?

Single coils are noisy. Some environments are wired in a way that makes it more prominent. The pickups sound really great. Search out a vid SRV secret soundcheck 1989. He's recording with a lot of hum.
