Schedule linux commands using cron | crontab command in linux | run shell script using cron

Hello guys , This video is about scheduling the linux commands or shell scripts to run at specific time or even in a repetitive fashion using cron utility . I stared with explaining the cron and how cron can solve our manual execution of tasks by scheduling them . I provided multiple examples on cron usage. After that , I explained about the cron tables and crontab command in linux . Then , I elaborated the types of crontab files present in our system. There are basically two type of crontabs files that are system wide crontabs and user specific crontab file . After that , I discussed about system wise crontab file and its format. I also discussed the process of formatting the crontab for scheduling jobs/tasks. Then , I explained about user specific crontab file and difference between system wide crontab file and user's sepcific crontab file in linux. Multiple examples had been shown with crontab command to edit crontable file .At end , I showed with an example that how we can run a shell script using cron jobs.
