@Chris2lowFilms This is exactly what the newspaper article says, "Event founder Dan Scheid confirmed Monday that he has already signed a fairgrounds contract for Aug. 24 to 26, 2012." There were multiple sites confirming this. It would suck if they moved it to indy. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Have your party, but don't have it in the parking lot of the burlington coat factory. Don't tear ass up and down public roads and flout the laws and ordinances of the host community. Also: if a diesel tractor can haul 40 tons down the road at highway speed and make almost no smoke, your comparatively tiny truck hauling NOTHING can do the same. Diesel trucks only make smoke when their owners modify or delete the factory emissions equipment, which unsurprisingly is against the law.

First of all this event only contributed to all the crime. There were 240 arrests last year and 150 arrests this year; most of which involved underage drinking and fights breaking out. There have also been reports that when police arrived on the scene of the Burlington Coat Factory parking lot, where many moved to after the event hours, people threw beer bottles at officers. Not to mention it already smells bad enough without all the smoke. The one pro (revenue) is far outweighed by the cons.

@cmnspwr hey now .. im not proud of the nonsense that went on in the video as of violence but the trucks , driving arround and blowing black smoke , really isnt a crime .. it is more of a car sport. more than getting hurt. would you rather see black smoke and some sweet rides or a buch of the drivers doin some ufc style moves on random people .. i believe id go with the trucks..not to be proud of it but only to participate its more than what you see in the video people do dumb things .
