Wow! What a place! Definitely somewhere to spend time 👍 Great filming, thanks

Thanks Richard. The schengen business can be difficult at times but without it we might not have seen Montenegro so every cloud has a silver lining I guess! Thanks for your support 😎⛵️

Cheers Rob, we would never have considered Montenegro if it wasn’t for schengen but so glad we did as it was stunning. We were quite busy getting ready to sail on for our month there but we’re returning there to winter so will explore it much more 😎⛵️

A fascinating and intriguing time exploring all the bays and inlets not to mention medieval towns . Just imagine how many feet have trodden those cobbles before you. I do envy you.

Cheers Bill….yes the history of places like that and the thought of what those places have seen is quite incredible….

A super video to watch! Montenegro looks amazing. It’s on the list!!

Cheers Robin. It’s a country I would never have thought about apart from it’s non schengen status but it is a stunning country in its own right 😎⛵️

We're enjoying catching up with your episodes a few at a time. Montenegro looks fantastic. We didn't make it there when we were in the Med. Our loss obviously. Thanks team.

Our schengen time limits were a challenge but one positive is that we wouldn’t have know of or thought about Montenegro if it wasn’t for schengen so every cloud and all that! It is a beautiful place and now we’re back here for the winter 😊😊🇲🇪

Great video. Looks like Montenegro is a great place! You guys like those walks to the moutain top, wears me out thinking about it. Great addition on the boat recipe by Kate. Cooking in small spaces can be a challenge. Looking forward to next video. Ha HA on the gum ; ). Blessings

Cheers Jim. We like to try and stay fit but it’s fading now after a summer of excess but nearly time to lay up for winter (in Montenegro funny enough) and get fit again ready for next season. There’s a few hills here in Montenegro to practice on…better start gently though or it’s going to sting! Thanks for your comment and support 😊⛵️

Such stunning scenery 🥰 that hike to the top is quite something, right?! But views from up there make it all worth it 🥳

It certainly was quite a hike, good job we were still a bit fit after winter! Amazing views from the top though so well worth it. 😊😊

Very nice episode. The missus particularly enjoyed Kate's dit about cooking; more 'helpings' on the domestic line would be of much interest. So too would be more feedback on how easy the bureaucracy was on entry and exit; 'Sailing Fair Isle's expose on corruption in Croatia was eye-opening. Looking forward to the next instalment; all the best.

Thanks Iain…glad the galley section was of interest we’ll definitely include some more of that in future and try to cover a bit more of the formalities although it’s hard to film that as I don’t think officials like being filmed much! Will definitely talk it through more though as we go forward. Thanks for you support and useful feedback 😊

@@FollowIntrepidBear That’s great. No real need to film them, just a few words on what you had to do and how easy it was would be fine. We’ve been noting the (relative) ease of getting into France compared with the Netherlands where the attitude of the border police makes you want to just turn round and go somewhere else. North Korea might be friendlier…
@FollowIntrepidBear2 жыл бұрын
Yes we checked in to France last year and the hardest part was finding someone bothered enough to stamp us in! All very low stress. Interesting to hear what you say about the Netherlands. Will bear that in mind if we’re ever back up that way 😬😬

Looks a very nice place to visit , been as far as Dubrovnic on motorbike and that was amazing , now added this to my visit list

We visited Dubrovnik from Montenegro and yes it is stunning. But for your travels yes it is only a couple of hours on from Dubrovnik and so very worth a visit. I hope you get to ride there one day although be careful on the tiny mountain roads 😬😊👍🏻

I think we did the same hire car deal when we were there lol. Lovely lovely. Food in private homes converted to restaurants its a magic place. Russian owned 🤔
@FollowIntrepidBear Жыл бұрын
We loved our time in Montenegro and, if you stick with our channel, you’ll see quite a change of plans in our future that sees us spend the winter in Montengro and it is indeed a magical place. Not sure about Russian owned as they were complaining about having been hacked by the Russians when we checked in in September 2022 but I daresay there is a lot of Russian money around. The word was actually that they were heavily indebted to the Chinese for their new motorway system but we didn’t delve too deep into the geopolitics of the place but just enjoyed its beauty. Hope you enjoy the future Montengro episodes when you get to them 😊⛵️
