Schildenstein - over Wolfsschlucht, Blaubergalm and Königsalm

The Schildenstein is a 1,613 m high mountain in the Mangfallgebirge in Bavaria. The summit can be reached in an easy hike from Wildbad Kreuth via the Geißalm and the Königsalm. On the other hand, surefootedness requires the cable-secured route via the Wolfsschlucht gorge.
Our tour went with a short turn to the Kleine Wolfsschlucht over the Große Wolfsschlucht up to the Blaubergalm.
The Blaubergalm is a privately run alpine pasture on the Blaubergkamm in Tyrol, at 1552 meters altitude, on the south side of the Blauberge. From May to October the pasture is opened.
From there we continued to the Schildenstein summit.
The descent passed by the Königsalm.
The historically significant Königsalm is opened from June to September.

Schönes Video ! Ich wollte eigentlich nur mal in die Wolfsschlucht gehen ! Bis zu welcher Stelle ist der Weg einfach ? Klettern ist nicht so mein Ding.

Vielen Dank 👍 Wirklich klettern musst du dort garnicht. Also das schlimmste was Mal passiert, ist das du Mal an den Fels greifen musst um eine höhere Stufe zu übersteigen 😁

Du kannst bis zum ende der kleinen wolfsschlucht gehen dort ist auch ein wunderschöner wasserfall

The area seems between Munich and Innsbruck, nice hiking trails! The food also looked amazing after a long hike. What are the suitable seasons to explore the area?

For hiking, I recommend the period from April / May to October. But you also can go to the Mountains during the winter. For something like ski tours or hikes with sledding downhill. But if you are not realy used to the winter in Mountains, peaks like this are just recommendable when it´s good weather. So no snow or havy rain.
