Schindler 321A Hydraulic Elevators at the Extended Stay America in Maryland Heights, MO

(March 2023) Here are two Schindler 321A hydrfualic elevators at the Extended Stay America in Maryland Heights, MO. This is one of three Extended Stay America Hotels in this area and this one has the most interesting elevators. These were installed in 1998 so they were really early 321A installs. Sadly, they no longer have the low pitch chimes. Also if you look closely, the capacity plate has the older font.

That's not an indicator, that's for car #1 and car #2, I don't know why they need that!

Why does the floor passing chimes in elevator 2 sound loud and the floor passing chimes in elevator 1 sound quiet

330A & 321A I think have different interlocks

The easiest way to tell is by the door exterior jam. Notice how the vertical overlaps the horizontal in this video. On a 330a, the horizontal overlaps the vertical.
