I actually rode a 400A, in fact, two. Those were really good! Weird how the hydro elevators, the floor counter is a floor ahead, yet with the tractions, are a floor behind. The ONLY good part about Schindler with 3'rd party fixtures is, Door Close usually works.

stampycatfan01 Yes, you are right. Schindler 3300 is VERY futuristic-looking and comes straight from Lucerne, Switzerland. This is why they are not compliant in California. I did get to film one 3300 in the Shops at Nanuet in New York but it was smooth, yet too slow.

Holy crap. This beats out the Shitler at the Dick's Sporting Goods near me. And that was the worst elevator I had ever been on. Missing emblem, plenty of vandalism, crappy door like this one. Motor was in slightly better shape though. On the bright side, epic win for getting a key to the controls. I've always wanted to see in that box so many thanks :)

Vator Hunters I've noticed that on newer 330A installs, if I hit the door close button, it will close within no more than 5 seconds later. On 300A and older installs, it takes up to 10 seconds at times to close after pressing the door close button.

I'm with you totally!!! I LOVE DOVER!!! They ARE the BEST and that's a fact!!! I always make fun of Schindler since door close never works and they are so slow but 500A and 3300 is AWESOME.

In a video by KZbin user "Lormarina" a technician riding with him on a new Schindler Ht (not sure of # model) told him that the door close may not work on some elevators but it shortens the door timer to three seconds

Schindler elevators suck, they may make some cheap elevators but once I met some very nice Schindler techs working on an elevator and they gave me an old elevator part. So I wont be too hard on them.
