wow the lockheed l 1011 tristar. i made him as a kit .miniature plane.wonderful.it was a hobby of me in the 80.s. the latest plane in this video was the dc 10 of Martinair.i flew in this plane to Crete in Greece in the summer of 1990.he crashed in dec 1992 on Faro

The El Al 747 looks somewhat pristine. Hard to believe that deep within its engine pylon lies a defect that would end up killing people both in the plane & on the ground just one month & 12 days after this video was shot.

But I'm asking Hans van Will and you..did either of you every spot/shoot the CP Air 747s that came to AMS? It seems that no one has every shot the great Orange 747s in Europe (none of the Canadian shooters ever got them,,which is a sad state of affairs given that they were all right there in their own home airports!) Please ty154 and Hans, let me know of your thoughts on this concern.

@@Starboard76 hi, my dad shot all the vids on my channel between 1990-1997 or so with the analog video cam, and I later did some videos with a digital camera (Tupolevs etc) I am afraid i am "too young" to have ever seen the CP Air 747s at Schiphol, it would have been very cool!

Vraag me af waarom die fokker van American een nederlandse registratie heeft (PH-EZA). Die registratie is nu aan een ERJ-190 van KLM verbonden.

@@bramlaurens7412 Dat is een testregistratie, en een testvlucht. Zo lang het vliegtuig niet geleverd is aan American, is het eigendom van Fokker, en heeft het dus een Nederlandse registratie. Bij Airbus zie je hetzelfde: die toestellen hebben allemaal Franse of Duitse registraties tot op het moment dat ze geleverd worden.

Test flight. The Fokker assembly line was at Schiphol, so flight testing was done from there. You can see it still has a Dutch registration (PH-EZA), meaning it was not yet delivered to AA and still owned by Fokker.

@@jibbe3107 In those day's they did intra europe traffic, mainly to west germany and Berlin due to post-ww2 rules about flying to west berlin. The AA F100 is probably as stated above, a test flight.
