ketamine isn't an amphetamine, it's a dissociative anaesthetic.

What I've always been curious about5 is, Is Dopamine levels become so high, do they block out other brain chemicals like Serotonin and Glutamate? Or would Serotonin and Glutamate be part of neurotransmitters that are part of the 'darkmatter' area of the brain? Reason I ask this is because I've personally read that people with Schizophrenia have 25% less grey in areas of the brain responsible for memory, how we process our thoughts and feelings, how we interact with our environment, etc. 'darkmatter areas of the brain are called 'silent neurons' or non functioning neurons. Would these non functioning neurons be the issue of distributing less serotonin and glutamate and more dopamine?

I have a question concerning the D2 receptors which are implicated in the positive symptoms of schizophrenia. Its contradicting to me because D2 receptors are supposed to have inhibitory effects causing low levels of dopamine.

I'd be curious where ADHD, stimulant addiction fits in this hypothesis

Because the dopamine is blocked ( Dopamine is responsible for motivation) I dont have motivation to do any things. The only way I can bypass it is by not using the anti psycotic medication like 2 times a mont which is a dose of 20mg. Some people say it can cause a relapse

At 10:54 you say that poverty of speech is a positive sympton of schizophrenia, isn't it a negative symptom?

If dopamine was the reason for symptoms, blocking it wouldn't cause such severe side effects

5:24 wait isn’t ketamine an opioid? You can reverse it with naltrexone
