Just so you know, as a person with schizophrenia, I prefer not to be referred to as a schizophrenic. It is a lot like calling someone with cancer a cancerous, or someone with the flu an influenza. I am a person with schizophrenia, like any. other person, not an illness, though when needed I can add the fact that I have an illness, but it doesn't make me something other than a person.

An update for the criteria there's also 5- disorganized behavior (can be catatonic, stereotype, mannerism, echopraxia,...), very enjoyable playlist Keep it UP :)

Do you still have a podcast, like you announced at the end? I couldn't find it on my player. Thanks.

SGA also treat the negative symptoms of schizophrenia based on the serotonergic MOA. The effect isn't as robust, BUT there is still an effect nonetheless. This is one of the reasons SGA's are considered first-line for treatment over FGA use... that and less EPS side effects.

oh, and further to my point about you repeatedly characterizing people with an illness as an illness (the schizophrenic you kept saying) they are attempting at this time to change the name of schizophrenia (because of people like yourself who label people as one illness or another) just as manic depression was changed to bipolar.
