The trakehner gelding is my favorite. He's so pretty and realistic compared to some of the newer Schleich horses.

@@moonfoxmodels9728 Yeah he would make a great model to use in a hunter or jumper diorama. I'm planning on using him for a Schleich horse show photoshoot I'm planning right now once I get him at Christmas.

BTW, the American Saddlebred breed typically has a high set neck, high set tail, and slightly longer back. They are also gaited, usually 5 gaited, but some aren't. I think the gelding is really nice representation of the breed and I would love to see Schleich make a yearling, perhaps in the parked out show position.

That's great! The appaloosa stallion is my friends favorite too! I love them all, but the tennessee walker mare was the one I wanted the most. I think that I have every version of her that has been released now! I am looking forward to hear what you think of them when they arrive. Also, I just realized that I have a few of your videos to catch up on this weekend 😄

@@KingdomofSchleich Agreed! Both Tennessee walkers are really nice models. They look so good on my shelf😉 I have the old andalusian stallion on the way in the mail! I think you use him as Shadow? He is such a gorgeous model and I got lucky to find him in good condition 😁

@@KingdomofSchleich I still haven't figurr3d iut a good name for him yet, but I am workikg on it. 🙂 To answer your question. I tend to look for models with the tag still on because I am very picky with the condition of the horses I buy. A horse with a tag on has generally not been played with. It is not a foolproof method though since old models can still have scratches even if they have the tag. As long as they are in as near mint condition as possible I don't really care about the tag. Some of my models that I have bought from facebook or auctionsites still have marks even though I try to look carefully at the pictures, but they are still welcome in my collection. 💖 I have doubles of some models because I bought one, and then found one in better condition that I bought too. Like the black exclusive arabian stallion. I already had him, but he has some scuffmarks.
