this may be a dumb question but why are the arrows so big compared to the ones used in 2012 and 2013?

+T3nZ88 It's not a dumb question. The bigger arrows are allowed now and are used by most, if not all, of the compound archers, because it increases the mistake you can make while still hitting the line. Some of the recurve archers use them as well, but most find that the thin arrows give you better accuracy and don't use the bigger arrows.

I have a question what Easton Arrows would be good for indoor an events like this for compound for I am disabled and had to switch from Recurve do to my disability but if I may ask what is a nice pro arrow for indoor?

Deany D Arton pretty much any arrow will work. Most of us (non pro but avid shooters) use the X7 Eclipse or the X7 Cobalts. A little easier on the pocket than the new X23/27. The largest diameter you can shoot for WA events is 9.3mm or 23/64" so a 2315 is the largest arrow size. For the Vegas shoot, it's the 2712 or the X27.

+Mike Ford Is it best to shoot the largest diameter? I thought you got your size from your bow strength and draw length.

Joseph Fitzpatrick I asked this Question long ago but Thanks for the reply. Back then I was Just getting back into the sport after a fight for my life do to (TM) an (Fibromyalgia) it left me Disabled so to shoot I had to go with Compound. Now for as Arrows go many shooters build and a just there weight and length for them but if you want to use your Draw Length that can work but if you look at the Easton Arrow Chart, It show you and inch in front your Riser witch I can tell you my Draw Length is a 30" but my Arrows or 31" but like I said all shooters I find fits there Arrows to the way they feel that will better fit them. To let you know I use Easton Trump's, X7's and for out doors I use the X10 Pro-tour.

Deany D Arton I've been using some cheap Eastons 340 on a 60 lb bow, They say I shouldn't shoot much larger than a 400. I'm just really interested in getting involved in the tournament's, I have an HTR nocam. Soon I will get a target style, I don't know to get the hoyt or target nocam. Anyways I've recently gotten hooked on shooting and I can't wait to have a good target model set up.

What is the distance, The targets doesn't look like 80cm?
