From what I've seen the E 186 Traxx should have one too. I mean, it has an inactive monitor that looks like an ETCS control panel, unless I'm missing something. Even other sources claim, that Traxx locomotives support ETCS in real life. I'm wondering why it doesn't in game. Did the devs run out of time, or it's not planned yet?

Great video! I really like watching somebody who describes sth I know in my home language in english :) 29:05 When you are in a neutral section you have to pull your throttle fully off. In the game it doesn't do anything. You can just go with full throttle through it and nothing will happen but in real life you have to pull off the throttle obligatory. In some cases if you won't do it you can even burn the wire above you. It could be really dangerous. But as I said: While playing SimRail you can actually don't care so much about the neutral setcions ;) Greetings from Poland

Thank you for the video! 11:40 The thing at the front of the bogie that spans almost the whole width of the train should be the BTM (Balise Transmission Module) for reading the ETCS balises, the smaller one at the end of the bogie that is only attached to the right side is most probably the sender/receiver for the SHP 1,000-Hz magnets, imho.

I’ve just started playing this simulator game. I finally completed the training exercise on the ED250 after multiple failed attempts. Changing the units so speed is consistent (metric) and modifying the key biding for the power and brake handle to mirror Train Sim World was a big help versus trying to manipulate them with the mouse. It it is very interactive in terms of watching signals and reading and acknowledging messages (radio channel change).

ETCS is kinda like IFR when flying a plane (Instrument Flight Rules). While ETCS is active, the track side signals and signs can be ignored. You do what ETCS is telling you on the screen (of course there are exceptions to this)

i like this video but at the first mission in singleplayer there is a call signal at the entrance of Knapówka. Can you figure out how to get through that section because i can't figure out myself. Thank you.

The white boxes in minute 12 are the magnets for the german train control system PZB.

The yellow bar already takes your speed into account, so you don't have to slow down before it.

This train is not working I tired today and that middle screen is grey I cant put any driver ID or any info I see option on main screen but unable to click 1,2,3,4,5 retc because its inactive.

ETCS traning scenario level 1 is broken to me )= after 15 min my screen gets frosen can only press ESC button and then i Fail the tutorial, Was really exited for this game.

Just a quick comment about the videos in general. When I see your thumbnails in my feed, you have a bright red line going right across the title box. Every time I see that, my first assumption is that it's the "watched" bar so I almost want to skip past. Other than that - when I do watch, I enjoy so thanks!

i really hate how all trains in this game wobble slowly from left to right and back again when on the move. its completely bugged and makes me motion sick

The wobble of the train is called the sine wave. The sine wave is nessessory that the train is not derailing in a curved track.

Okay I’m confused. Every train I’ve ever been on. From Narrow Gauge Steam in the Smoky Mtns, to the DB trains in Germany… every train car goes left to right in reality unless the train has like a mag lev system. The flanges have to hunt. Multiple sims have it. Or I’m I missing something more exaggerated?
