I would just be wary and understand what you are getting into beforehand. If you undergo trainer with Schneider it is typically 4 - 5 weeks of training. 1st week is general knowledge and some hand on driving, 2nd week is driving with an instructor, last two weeks is preparing for the cdl test. You will also be put into an 9 month contract under Schneider where if you quit working for Schneider under nine months you pay roughly $2300 tuition fee. Schneider is ok to start out with but their cents per mile is low as with any other mega carrier. I went under Schneider for training but quitting to do local routes in my state cause I got my own hobbies and enjoy daily home time instead of doing OTR. Other companies pay alot more once you have at least six months experience for OTR such as Marten or CRST.
