You will need the programming cable for you to be able to upload program to your laptop.

@@gnengenharia You will need to get cable to be able to edit the program, if you are using the memory card for just transferring the program from one controller to other, that is fine, but if it requires editing as specially if you are adding extra ad dons, cable is the only way.

Thanks Ingus - nice and simple, can you "transfer" the program from one unit to another (say the unit is faulty) even if it has a password (with the program or the memory stick)?

Am not sure about the memory stick, but if it is password protected it will not let you pump the program out in software. I will check it out in the future if it is possible with memory stick.

@@IGSElectronics Thanks, we had a Crouzet controller that was damaged, so we bought a new one which came with the program and lead (similar to the lead you have), but it was password protected. We did not want to change the programming just transfer it from the damaged controller to the new one and keep it password protected. This was on a air handling unit (AHU). it would be useful to know whether we could port the program over with a memory stick and how to do it. Its probably simple, but we did not purchase the memory at the time. Many thanks Andy.
