I would be very interested, how that Lemo connector works. I couldn't find any video that shows how to attach/detach the cable. Once you have the time would you mind to show that?

A very good question! Checking the dollar prices at B&H for convenience, you can get a dollar change and a Sennheiser MKH416. Tried, tested and true. Not as good as an MKH60 (check the videos on this channel!) but much cheaper and will keep its value as a classic mic. Sanken SCM-1 - I had it only a short time for a review but I liked it a lot. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y2HSiZJ-fZuhrtk Rode NTG-5 - have a listen here - kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZ3FpqOlmNOYn9E and save quite a bit of money if you like it! Talking of saving money the Audio Technica 4073B is a bargain - check out this video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/qp6lpYyGg7V7ebs - and that is the older '4073a' version. As ever I have questions that should have been first but in my excitement are here at the end! What are you going to plug the mic into? Do you have a separate recorder or mixer? Are you going to put the mic on a boom or pole or stand? Do you also need a full professional windshield kit in your budget? If you do you'll have to restrict yourself to the cheaper mics. As I often say, but nobody listens, any of the mics mentioned are good enough to get great results if used with proper craft skills. Thanks for a good question, ta like ppm6.

in this review you say ccm41 is hyper cardioid, is this right or is super cardioid?

Hi Zlatko - now there's a good question! You are dead right Schoeps define the CCM41 as a Super Cardioid and provide a handy definition. Supercardioid (MK 41) - a=0.37. In the jargon often called hypercardioid. However a hypercardioid is defined with a=0.25 I confess to being guilty of 'jargon'. Maybe if I could afford one.... Ta like, ppm6.
