Every European countries have some initial semesters that includes basic level of language classes . This is necessary since you will have clinical rotations from your 4th year where you need to have conversation with patients. Its not a bad deal to know multiple language in life. Even many schools in india have started including foreign languages in their curriculum.

I believe people’s perception of you often depends on how you present yourself. If you show respect, inculcate the local culture, and carry yourself with good manners and ethics, people generally respond well. So far, no one has asked about my religion or if i am a muslim. Im hindu btw. they only ask where I’m from. Living in Germany and speaking the language well has earned me a lot of respect here. I’ve met good and bad people from all backgrounds irrespective of religion and country .I got the opportunity to talk with native europeans . And since i use the same language as they do, they were more open with me to share what they feel. They dont hate you simply if you are a muslim.They feel frustrated when certain groups of people irrespective of their religion, who fled there countries and came here seeking support , sit for many years eating citizens tax money without even trying to integrate themselves or the language. Nor even trying to get into job market as they think they can just sit and enjoy the money from the government due certain laws here. This makes them upset as they are paying a huge portion of their salary in the form of tax(35-40%). Again not everyone, just certain proportion of people.
