The person who is getting contract for phD then he will take 1500 to 2500£ per month from the university as salary, depends on what percent contact you get so you have to pay the tex to the German government but it's beneficial for getting PR in Germany because you have payed yex of 21 months so you will PR easily and the German government will not push you out from his country after completion of your phD . In case of scholarship you will get paid by the german government in the gorm of scholership and you are not bound to pay tex to the government but after completion of the phD the german government will ask you to show a big amount in your account if you want to stay here and in case you are fresh not got any job yet and don't have money to show them then they will push you back in your home country, they will not allow you to stay here. But in case of comtract based phD German government will allow you that you can stay here in Germany for18 months for searching a job.
