Years ago I started my IT career bypassing Novell client using notepad. We used to type the code in notepad, save it and then rename the extension to .bat so we had an executable. I told this to the school management, but instead of appraisal I got a police warning. I was 14 back then.

This Totally works, but what if they lock the freaking boot menu? And what if you don't have a second PC to use Rufus?

1. By locking the boot menu, do you mean preventing the menu from opening? If so, you can boot into the windows menu like in the video and see if the drive still pops up. 2. You can try to burn the iso onto the usb drive from an app on your phone? Maybe it will work? I'll test it soon.

Very interesting however you can get in lots if trouble for doing this. I can only reccomend this if you OWN the device and you don't have to return it.

I do agree with this. However, you could use the same process to remove the account, or you could use the same windows menu to reset the laptop back to factory school settings.

I am booting into another operating system off of a flash drive, to add an admin account to the operating system on the laptop's drive.

What're the cons for this?

Small chance to get caught if you aren't careful or if your school/organization actively monitors the laptops (for some reason?).
