Hi I would like to add that Alberta has family resource centre who runs early development program from birth to 4 years of age Very helpful for new immigrants and new parents.I would like to add charter schools as well to the types of school in Canada. Although schools are easy going but they work on basics and concept building unlike India.Furthermore they do get homework but most of the assignment and projects are done in school .

maneet kaur yes it varies from province to province , I believe grade 7 onwards they start teaching French but that’s not mandatory too

As you said that they teach all subjects in French and it’s not mandatory but is it possible to learn all subjects in English and learn French separately if so then what if you are not familiar with French but you want to learn do they do separate classes for such students or how does it work? One thing more i need to know, do parents also require knowledge of french for admission of their kids? Actually i have done A1 level n husband is doing A2 as well. We will not have more time here in India to do further levels but as of now I can do A2 as well as we have still 4 months time. Should i continue or A1 will be sufficient? We want our kids to persue studies in French. Please guide as you are well versed about Canadian system. We will be landing and residing in Toronto... Thanks a lot in advance...

Pllease read. To become a teacher in Canada you must have a degree in either arts or science. If you have that you can then go to Teachers college. Once you pass all the exams and study in teachers college you have now become a teacher. May I suggest something. The waiting list after you become a teacher to get a job is more than 6-7 years in Canada , so I would suggest you choose a different career as you do not want to be unemployed for that many years. Again it's your choice whether you want to reconsider or not.

@@suraiasabah3180 hi suraia, it is a good choice, but depends on what field you take your masters in . You would definitely be able to get a good job in the government with the degree. Also make sure the university is able to transfer your credits. Lastly, Ontario would be a great sector for this field.
