Awesome video, thanks for sharing! Applied some of the wisdom here this past Saturday after watching the video Friday night, and landed our first Bluefin out of New Jersey. Pretty much ran the pattern but I don’t have a 4th bar, so instead I ran a daisy chain with a bunch of birds on it. After a few hours of my bird chain never getting a hit while everything else got bites from Bonito and Albies, we were marking tuna around 30ft under the boat, so swapped it out with a diving plug. Not long after that we raised our fish which hit on my closer in splash bar. 37” / 29.2# landed in ~10 min. Awesome day. Didn’t lose a single fish that ate and had pretty consistent action the entire trip.

Hey Capt. Mike. Great video, thank you. What's the largest tuna you think that set up can handle? Thank you.

Great video, thanks. I was out at Tuna Ridge from Montauk on Sunday. Found the whales and dolphins but not the tuna. I guess we should have kept going to The Dump! What speed were you trolling at?

Thank you! We were trolling around 4-5mph
