Such a dummy. Making something out of nothing, probably just putting the cop on edge because people usually act that way when they are going to do something unpredictable. If she just showed him respect he would have wrote her the ticket and let her back out into the big big world where there are so many lessons to be learned like don't speed in a residential area when kids are walking to school etc..

Yeah, when the wahmen crying doesn't work become aggressive because you're not getting your way. Typical child in an adults body mentality. Maybe if she just took some personal responsibility and wasn't such a POS she'd realize she can't manipulate her way out of everything. I feel bad for her children.

@I'm Right That's the way it is here. You are supposed to get a ticket for no insurance no license and the way they have it set up now and once the tickets wrote they can't take it back. Go to court prove you had insurance and/or license and that ticket's dropped. I got pulled over for speeding and found out they have a machine that prints out the ticket. So the cops don't have the discretion of dropping the speed to a lower level anymore.

The media (CNN and MSNBC mainly) is telling these people that they are victims and that white people are the cause of all their problems. The media is tearing this country apart with their false news. I used to NEVER think about race or color in my everyday life. Everyone was treated equal. Since the media has been doing this for the past 12 years I have thought about race every day, and am getting tired of all the whining. The media is turning me into someone that will have nothing to do with other races because why would you want to be called a racist or say the wrong thing on the liberal word of the month that you're not supposed to say.. Screw them.

Definitely the most unprofessional thing the cop said was "do you need an ambulance? You look like you might be having a panic attack." That was absolutely disrespectful. Emma Wade I've heard of people getting pulled over for 6 over and cited for going 2 over, in a school zone. Luckily myself I've had 2 warnings for speeding. 77 in 65 and 60 in a 35 (could have gone to jail or at the very least be cited). Ive always been very honest with officers yet knowing my rights.

Yes he handled it well. You have to these days. Cops get fired for anything in this climate. A few years ago I had a friend that had a stop with a woman that was worse than this woman. She exited her car during the stop and was pacing, gesticulating wildly and yelling. He tried to explain to her why she was being stopped many times but she would just interrupt him and call him names. When he was in his car writing the citation he muttered under under his breath, “Dumb bitch.” Mind you he said it to himself in his vehicle not to her directly. When management saw the video, they used it to fire him. There are many more stories like this. I’m retiring the day I’m eligible in eighteen months. Being a cop has become a truly soul sucking endeavor. I now discourage anyone thinking about working in law enforcement from doing so. It’s just not worth the stress and cost to your family. Look at divorce rates, depression rates and alcoholism in the profession. Higher cancer and heart disease rates. An average life expectancy of 57yo vs. 85yo for the rest of the population. Go be a plumber or mechanic or start a business. You’ll live longer and you and your family will be much happier.

@@overbuiltlimited I mean, somebody always has to do it, and it's probably not the best to let the profession get saturated in stone cold, heartless officers who don't care about the people they're supposed to protect. I'm 15 and being a police officer has been a pretty prominent idea all through my childhood and has really picked up when I was about 13. I consider myself not too phased about death, and I can usually brush off traumatizing situations quite easily. If I do become an Officer, I'm probably going to aim for a smaller community, as I live in the midwest. (Near St. Louis.) I already understand that going for St. Louis would probably be a horrible mistake. St. Louis is literally worse than Chicago with less of a reputation. I'm grounded pretty firmly as a Christian which would lead to my spouse having more traditional values. The main reason I want to become a police officer is because, of course, I want to be part of the force that keeps my community safe, but also because I feel that I'm suited quite well for the job, like as I said, I've always been able to brush off stress, I don't get agitated about what people think about me, and there's really not much that mentally gets to me or traumatizes me. Should I really not consider it? What are your views on my situation? Also, sorry such a personal question like this just got randomely thrown onto you. You don't have to answer it if you don't want to, I just like to take every chance I can get to talk to an actual Officer. Thanks!

Extraordinarily Basic No, homeschooled kids ARE more awkward and less socially adept. No amount of family interaction can make up for fending for oneself as a student in a school, at its best there is NO better way for an average kid to learn. Granted, women like this have helped make many public schools academic shit holes, even in ten years I’ve seen an amazing drop in simple reading comprehension and writing ability of college kids (I’ve occasionally helped grade papers.. they’re horrendous). Certainly academically, a home schooled kid could do as well or better than a kid in say, private school, but to deny that you’re missing a giant social aspect is to deceive yourself. We are social, tribal animals, moreover, human civilization only exists because of cooperation and shared knowledge and experience. A lot of social skills, like everything else, are learned from a young age. I’ve met plenty of home schooled kids and they’re always at least a little deficient in this area - and some of course really struggle with even basic conversation with strangers. That is a skill in life, we can’t just depend on computer screens. And yes, I know home schooled kids can do sports, or meet other home schooled kids, whatever, it’s not the same. In every home schooling I’ve seen the mom is at home, meaning the kid barely learns how to exist without her. This just isn’t healthy. I understand the reasoning, and yes they are stereotypes but stereotypes have origins. I know I’ve seen some studies, but basic stuff proves we need human contact, and obviously more is better to be well practiced. You may be defensive of it but I’m not shitting on it entirely, I’m just pointing out why the solution is fix the schools, not forget em. Homeschooling is not a perfect answer, even if it’s effects are mitigated through intensive efforts at extra curricular stuff, a) that’s a lot of work vs. a school that has sports teams and clubs already, and b) they’re only mitigated, all else being equal, the traditionally educated kid will do better in their lifetime income wise.

@@isaiahminott What's dumb about what I said? He is inconveniencing her routine of driving her daughter to school and getting on with her day. Regardless of if she deserved it or not, he is not the most polite person she will meet all day. For one, the act is not polite. His words may be polite, but they are also manipulative and could be construed as passive aggressive. He is asserting his dominance over her. That is not polite. Polite is seeing someone in the street and saying hi or smiling. I'm sure that happened at least once that day, so I would say that person is more polite than the cop that pulled her over, gave her a speeding ticket, and a bullshit expired insurance card ticket. I've been pulled over multiple times in my life and provided the insurance card from last period, also no insurance card at all. Never received a ticket for that, or even scolded for it. Cops know you have insurance or not regardless of if you provide a card. He could have been way more polite. Passive aggressive "politeness" to someone frustrated is not polite. Showing organic empathy for them and treating them as equals, in order to stabilize their emotions is polite.
