And a lot of the younger generations instabilities stem from social media- definitely never helps . If our parents had social media when they were young half of us prolly wouldn’t be here.

emily was my oldest son's friend at los osos high. my son said that she was a nice person that always smiled. but, maybe behind the smile there was a lot of pain that she never talked about to anyone. we are all in shock when we received the text and email messages early morning when the news of her passing broke out. i pray for her family during this crushing time. rip em!!! soar high, sweetie!!!

OMG😒 Your one of those "OH WONT SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN" people. Yeah, just accept that she committed suicide for whatever reason. Sucks, but her choice. And whether it be drugs or peer pressure or social media, doesn't really matter. She made the decision and that's it. As for your no clothes on comment, it doesn't matter. The officers know why and it was suicide. You want to help these poor little rich kids? Start by making sure your kids aren't the problem.

at first i thought the same thing... she was my oldest son's friend at los osos high school. he said that she was a nice person that always smiled. it did seem strange at first... but, i hope that her family will find the answers they're searching for. also, she was ran over by multiple cars and her clothes could have stuck to the cars as they ran her over. 1 car struck her and kept driving off... just all around sad...

I'm 45 and when I was in high school, we heard of kids locally that took their own lives. It's not just social media or the times we live in now. So many emotions go though a teens brain at this age. They need all the support they can get from family and friends.

However, if she did have problems and committed suicide I have great compassion for that. I work in an elementary school office. I have been there for almost 13 years and it just keeps getting worse. Parents do not parent. They want to be friends with their children. It is SO weird.

@@Kenpeters007not necessarily I heard that she was found with no clothes on. If that is true we could be look at possible SA and that may have been what made her do what she did. I also heard that she was apparently with a group of guys when it happened too. I don’t know what to believe EDIT: I just saw that people saw her derobeing in the middle of the freeway. And that she also had a history with mental health, I also saw that she possibly wrote notes about wanting to end her life and that she could have possibly been on drugs when she decided to end it all.

These resources are always available. I work in an elementary school office and I will honestly tell you that our staff are on full alert, fully willing and able to help at all times of the day, in contact with parents, have police and medical facilities at hand and are constantly spending their days working hard with these kids. It also depends on the district, their funds available for certain protections. There is a lot involved that parents just dont understand. If only parents would do more!!!!!

Minors under the age of 18 should not be allowed on social media. This would reduce online bullying, prevent feelings of isolation, and lessen the impact of mental health issues like depression and anxiety. Without exposure to hateful content and toxic interactions, there would be less loneliness and anger. Overall, this could lead to a reduction in drama and negativity for everyone.

How can they be certain it was a suicide she had to many things going on for her positive!!! So maybe someone pushed her off someone who was jealous of her such as a bf or just friend!!!!
