I am the girl in the blue jumper and skirt frolicking around at the school gate with friend Carol Bonwck. Crossing lady is Mrs Kift whose daughter Penny was also a student at the school. I was gobsmacked to find this video and have been living in Australia since 1976. My brother Kendall also went to the school and lives in Aberdeen. We lived in Oakland's lane in The Valley Amazing find!! Lesley Rundle

Just amazing stuff, I was at BH School age 10 in 1960. I am the boy with dark hair and red sweater at minute 3.01 with my friend Michael Smalley. My best friend Trevor Smith is the blond kid on the school crossing with his brother Steven. Trev and I are still best of mates at 65!!

Hi - fab footage, I was there earlier than this in the early to mid 1950's, I recognise Mr Cope the caretaker and Mr Huckle the headmaster.

Great bit of film, really enjoyed it. Where was Temples Corner ? It looks to be on a hill, so was it found at the top of Salt Box Hill ??

Temples had two stores, one at the bottom of Stock Hill and one at the top of Stock Hill better known as bottom an top Temples.

I remember the one at the top, we were all sad to see it close. I remember when cleaning out the store they found lots of old children’s black boots from years ago, good memories.
