The dinner ladies would start early cooking shepherds pie from scratch, treacle tart and custard. I can still picture them now, why did they appear to look like our grannies did even though they were probably in there 40s lol

*I remember one story when I was at school. ..that a teachers "ate" one of the dinner ladies ....as I grew up I understood what it really meant 😗😋😕*

I remember Winston, Ojuka, and Delroy "taxing" the Indian kids as they were an easy target, Funny they never taxed Andre,Martin, James or Peter. On the odd day you would not have your money taken away you would get Chicken and Mushroom pie, Toad in the whole, everything came with chips and beans or peas. The dinner ladies would give bigger portions to all the non brown kids and when they had left overs they came out with a second pie or lemon tart, but always the white kids were given that instead of the coloured kids. Well the Indian came rank bottom again. I and many like myself got our dinner money taken daily and for three years I did not have a scholl meal. I only had breakfast, even the bus fair was stolen so I and all the indian kids would have to walk home. I later went on to open a resteraunt and the kids that bullied me and th dinner ladies and teachers who came in to my resteraunt had a extra portion of something!

That sounds fucking awful. I went to a pretty normal SE London junior school and all us white and asian kids got on fine. One of my besties was Sukminder. We all grew apart when we went to secondary school but I still wonder how Sukky's doing these days

Everyone used to eat their dinners back then. Chips we’re lovely and everything was fresh made. God knows what ready made carcinogenic material goes into school dinner’s these days. Shame on the UK government
