We had a bomb threat in my high school that we literally had to get escorted to the football field where everyone was standing. We all wondered why if someone had a bomb why move the kids from the building to the field. Then after they realized how dumb that was we moved to the nearby National Guard recruiting center where we had the dogs go through the kids sniffing everyone out. I remember like 15 people getting caught with drugs and shit because of it.

Once in my School, I got in a bit late, I saw that Everyone was dressing themselves in the dressing room, I heard a few people saying 'bomb threat' I taught they we're joking but when I reached my classes dressroom there we're 4 of my classmates there and told me 'bomb threat' (I haven't undressed my outside clothes yet) I asked them if they are joking, they said no. My teacher was not there including most of my classmates, still in my classroom. So I just walked out of the building, after a while the rest of my class came outside, like Chain said: Some we're playing football. Then the director Spoke, I could not hear anything because of all the screaming. Over all of Estonia (And Latvia before that day) bomb threats we're given to almost every School. In my mothers School too, (She works as a teacher) she called me to make sure everything was alright. So that is it

From experience the tornado drill is just hoping something doesn't hit you. We had one hit our school when it was night. The administrators claimed we'd have been without a scratch if it was during the day. In our engineering class, we got to look at footage inside to show what a failure it was. I suffer from PTSD from a house fire that happened in 2009 (it was very small but I was ten years old). PTSD symptoms started during high school and whenever we had a fire drill, my heart started racing and I started having an anxiety attack. When I tried to explain to the school about it and why and tried to ask if I could be allowed to leave class before the actual drill started (some kids with sensory processing issues were allowed to), they said they weren’t allowed to let me leave early unless the diagnosis was on my file. It made sense and I understood why, especially since I wasn’t professionally diagnosed at the time (I didn’t wanna relive the trauma; I wasn’t diagnosed until a couple weeks ago), but suffering through the fire drills sucked.

At my school, we don't do the "single file line in classroom" drill. It's simply just: everyone gets up, and every man is for themselves. You walk out of the school down the road to the park and find the small group of people you stick with for all of highschool alongside your teacher, and then just stay there, a safe distance away from the fire, gossiping about whether it was real or not.

@@MapleTaffy I have a few! We had this new teacher come who nobody liked, and some yr 10 girl drew on the bathroom stalls AWFUL things about this teacher. Worst part? This girl left a vape in the sanitary dispenser bin. Set off the fire alarm. She got expelled and had to apologise to the teacher 💀

One time at my old school, we had a school lockdown. The first five minutes was boring. I was just reading a book and passing notes to my friends. Then, 10 minutes go by, it’s boring. THEN, 40 MINUTES GO BY. The door is now shaking and then the phone rings. My teacher answered it and then a kid in my class slowly crawled to the door and looked out the glass. The person shaking the door was a student. He was scared because he heard the alarm and started running to the door. My teacher opened the door and let him in. Anyway, the lockdown was a false alarm.

I HATE false lockdowns, I remember I was having a bad day of being abused in basketball and got dumped, the school said we’re having a CODE RED lockdown, so I thought it was real and after 20 minutes they said “thank you for participating in the false lockdown” like don’t say it is a code red! and after that there was another announcement saying “If you find _____ please get them back to class” and I got super scared cause it was my ex and I still cared about them and It scared the shit out of me

When I had tornado drills I was taught that position and we all went to the lowest point of the school in the middle (this happened to be the bathrooms next to the cafatearia and half the school was in them). Its a solid plan since smaller tornadoes damage the outside of a building first, and balling up protects your head from flying stuff and avoids you doing a kite position where your more likely to go flying.

When I was in Elementary, I had a legit lockdown situation when an intruder broke into the school. He wasn’t armed or dangerous, he was just some high school kid who thought that breaking into school gates would be “funny”. My principal stopped him and got him arrested, the intruder is now rotting in jail. I was frightened because I was only in 2nd Grade. I almost pissed my pants at that time.
