We had a case a few months ago in Sydney Austrslia of a high school making all the boys apologize for potential assaults against women. The boys didn't want to do it but had to, even though they did nothing wrong. Basically they were forced to apologize for being born a male. It was so ridiculous, theirs parents chucked a huge fit and the school apologized. They were trying to teach gender equality and that violence against women is wrong, but obviously it backfired. I don't know why the school principal ever thought that was a good idea.

They gave us like a huge amount and asked us to consume one after lunch break. They didn't ask if we are suffering or if anyone has that helminths in our body! I was surprised to see many of my classmates consumed it without any second thoughts but I went home and told my parents about this! They immediately consulted a doctor and he told me there's no need to consume one unless you have heminths! Cause these medicines do have side effects ! But again surprisingly, the next day, or weeks or months, no one was infected anything or fell sick! Some do had side effects, but it wasn't major. Soon afterwards, School told ''it wasn't that necessary to consume one, if you had, then it's like prevention, if someone haven't had yet, it's also okay.'' I guess many parent's might have reported this to school, as my parent's too informed!

I believe both should be encouraged to stay pure until marriage, why only encourage girls? Do I need to remember the risks of having sex before marriage, both physical and psychological, that both of you run? or doing it irresponsibly, even without getting married, besides that schools are not the best place to teach this

When I was a 7th grader teacher made an announcement for 7th to 10th graders to gather at the football ground. The teacher took a unwrapped candy in her hand then girl and boys were divided into two sections to stand. She called me and a boy from 9th grade. We were both the class presidents. She asked the boy to eat the candy. The boy was confused and asked why to eat an unwrapped candy. The teacher turned to me and looked at the section of girls standing. She said your value is just like this candy once you loose your purity. No one wants you. The boy took a stand and asked that why is she only refering to girsl. So the teacher said he is disrespecting her and will be punished and was expelled. Like taking a stand for someone is rewarded by punishment.

Cause woman control access to sex, if the girls in school remain Virgin the boys will too at least at school, no teen pregnancies. That and virginity is a valuable for a woman not so much for a man.

But why do they want someone ( boys or girls) to stay virgin until marriage ? It is a personal choice, why do some adult in a schoo' should have a say in what other future adult could do with their bodies !?
@elldunnohowtospell Жыл бұрын
@@kellymensah8181Thats not the point. The point was equality and how they shouldnt force something one just 1 gender. If they want females to take it they best give it to males too. If they want males to take it they best give it to females too. (unless it a scrictly 1 gender thing like maybe it contains male hormons or smth). The point is they shouldnt force it apon just one gender without a good reason. The point was sexsim not about how you should save ur virginity. It's fine if you disagree with that but the main message is equality.

I think this is a real valid critiquing of our society. The double standard there is of how girls/women are expected to be chaste and pure but not holding boys/men to that same standard. And I think what's glaring is how everyone laughed at that one boy who said he wanted to be chaste to. In most societies women are placed on a pedestal for being "pure" or "untainted" while men are seen as "losers". While on the flip side women are slut shamed for being sexually active while it's expected of men even placed on pedestal for it. It's actually funny considering the fact that sex in those same societies its largely excepted that sex is btn a man and a woman. For those with different sexually orientation the situation is even worse

@@bendoe5863 because of society's perception, at least in the sexual sphere. In my society, both men and women Must stay chaste before marriage according to our religion, so both get punished equally and accordingly when they break it. There's no hookup culture in my country due to this, sure some people engage, but its not a widespread thing. Here men aren't valued for sexual record, even punished like women are, for straying

Does this actually happen in schools? I actually plan on waiting until marriage but as a teacher I would be so angry if this ever happened at my school and refuse to take part. This is not sex ed, first of all, and second of all, the sexist double standards are disgusting.

I mean, I'm fully supporting the school when they say that the students need to save themselves till they're ready to become parents, but what I'm against is, is that only girls are made to take it. It takes two to tango, what if the guys forced the girls? Gender quality is gone with the wind, in that school.
