Right? Designing stickers is fun but the stories you paint have deeper meaning sometimes. Thanks for your comment! 💙

Victory! ❤ Shawn and I love watching your vlogs! We had no doubt you would sell more than $1 worth or product. I get the sense there will always be different ways you wanna change your setup to make it more efficient for you. But you will figure that out the more you do! You go girl!

Takes me a good half hour minimum to set up my vendor displays at markets. Got too much stuff I wanna sell 😂 I also probably set it up slightly different every time I do one as well. Congrats on the profitable vending booth! It’s always nice to break even or go over the cost to be there.

Use castor oil twice a day on your hands and wrists. It really helps. And for organizing use a large make up case, the ones that have layers and you can roll.

Ooo I did not know about the castor oil! I'll have to check it out... Thanks for the suggestions!!

@@SquirrelSprout no worries, i have a lot of tendon pains, if you are consistent is really helpful. It's very sticky so i use cotton gloves and a leave it overnight. I hope you feel better! Thanks for the videos. I've been a small business owner for 10 years and just now I'm ready to release my own youtube vlogs lol

For hotter months and markets, I know some artists use neck fans (found on Amazon) to keep cool. And for those of us (like me who get overheated quickly) instant use ice packs are your best friend. (I know it's not environmentally friendly but I'd rather that than pass out). Also also, as a runner I LOVE using Skratch powder in my water, etc. (o make sure I, again, don't pass out from lack of water or electrolytes! Hope these help!
@SquirrelSprout3 ай бұрын
ooooo what is Skratch powder?? I'll have to check it out! those are all amazing suggestions, thank you!! It is always scortching hot in the summer here for at least a month, so this will come in handy, 100%! you're so kind, thank you!

I am glad you're getting treatments for your eyes, I work in optics, so I know stuff, haha. Yes, yes, give me all the lore, lol! :D Ugh, doctors and referrals, I swear. Had some issues with that last year, this was with the vet, but I have previously dealt with being denied a proper mental health assessment for 2 years, until I finally got an appointment. Whoops, word vomit. :D Chimkins! Aww, you'll get to see them another time, I am sure! I love chickens so much, they are adorable and clever. I am sure you and Bella will get to meet one day soon. Fingers crossed! That would have been a disaster, omg! I try and keep all my products packed together at most times, but I have definitely forgotten some stuff at times, oops. I am the same with comments too, I don't do it too often, only when I have something to say, or I really like the person and their videos. :D Your setups is so nice!

word vomit is fine! Hahaha. Oh my gosh, there were chickens at yesterday outside market but I didn't get to record them as I was so busy doing other things. One of them was named Charlotte and was very social haha. Thanks so much for the comments, I super appreciate them! LOL Cats and plastic.... It drives me mad hahaha Yesterday's market was BEAUTIFUL.... minus the pouring rain at first lol. I'll be editing that one soon!

It takes me about an hour to set up a six foot, 8 foot a little longer. - the 6, 8, and square 4X4 booth set up (which i will be setting up at 8am this morning) plus tent - it takes awhile lol. Break down always takes less- i guess because presentation isnt a concern? idk. i just have a place for everything and in it goes (though sometimes i do just throw things in haphazard- drives my husband nuts)
@SquirrelSprout3 ай бұрын
LOL! I know right? I'm always self-conscious about the time allotted for take-down, too, so I kind of shove everything in suitcase/bags without really minding. "That's a tomorrow problem" 😂 Glad I'm not the only one!
@evaempress3 ай бұрын
I have two tables, one for all my hand-painted accessories and home decor, and the other for my earrings, which are all on cards and at the moment, have to be hung individually on every peg. Takes me about an hour and fifteen to set up now, including if I have a tent. I am looking at finding a way to keep the earring cards on the pegs when I break down but we'll see... it's tedious x.x
@SquirrelSprout3 ай бұрын
oh my gosh i know what you mean! It's super tiring! Mine now are kept on peg hooks (these ones: amzn.to/4aj4Z5W ) and I love them! I was outside at a market for the first time yesterday, and when my stickers started flying off of hooks because of the wind, I put them back on. Everything worked out well! Also, I met someone who had a pegboard box looking thing and (hopefully) this week I will be purchasing the material to make one. You literally keep everything in there and it serves as your display! I'll make a vlog about it, so keep your eyes peeled! 👀

After watching your last blog I attempted to do one myself yesterday. It's a chaotic mess just like me, lol. Need to put all the clips together. It's mostly just me talking way too close to the phone camera. We got poured on and had to shut down early. Made zero $ as the rain really messed up the rest of the hours we had left, which it wasn't going well to begin with anyway. It was about 95 humid and a bit windy....then the storm rolled in about 2hrs before it ended. FL vendor life. 🤪

Oh my gosh! I'll have to watch your vlog later! I'm so sorry it wasn't a very good experience! D: but I am SO happy that my vlogs helped you gain the courage to do your first market vlog!! I love that so much! Outside markets, as I learned yesterday at my first one, are SUCH a learning experience. Rain, sunshine, wind, products flying around LOL ooooohhh boy. Weather is so unpredictable :( Keep pushing through! You got this!
