School No. 12 Autism Acceptance Celebration

On Friday, April 19th, Elmora School No. 12 held their annual school wide Autism Acceptance Celebration. For the past five years, School 12 has dedicated the month of April to raise awareness and acceptance of autism by educating students and the entire community on the topic of autism through educational presentations, media, art, music, dance, and wearing blue and other colors of the spectrum. This month always brings us together and reminds us to be kind, respectful, and accepting of others. The entire school body created a human rainbow to demonstrate unity, acceptance, and respect for everyone. This celebration is dedicated to Special Needs students in our school and the entire world.
