Oooohhhhh... I missed that part about 6 years and family business in TN the first time. Aw... poor daughter Dooley and the 7th year...

Definitely struck a chord in me, having grown up in a high-demand religion during the Satanic Panic of the 1980s. And yes, my mother did 'save my soul' by disposing of my D&D books, or so she thought...

I feel bad for the boy, Justin. Trauma and religious abuse have sent many a child off the rails. Too often we don't realize that our children not only can live up to our expectations, the often live down to them as well. Great job as always.

It was easy to imagine, growing up in a rich private school where school spirit was so absent that seniors joked about the very idea of class rings, that this kind of pride is just a media convention. But then I grew up to work in the sports business in small markets, and part of my work is connecting my minor league teams with communities for which it's exactly as you tell it. For the past four years, I'm living on the edge of Appalachia, and I'm learning the kind of truth this story tells. You do a better job of making it seem authentic than any sports movie I've ever seen, probably because you mention that it means something to people who aren't athletes.

The story is great! Your discretions are are always so vivid I can mostly picture myself there 😮! I love 💗 Cams voice ❤! Y’all are wonderful! It’s so cool that a couple of your Characters last names are Ramey! That’s my married name. I did the hyphen thing because I am also proud of my heritage so it’s Florez- Ramey! My late husband and I had wonderful life together and I am so blessed for having him in my life for 22 years! His Dad was so cool and I knew him for about 3 years before he passed! They were both salt of the earth hard working folks, just my kind of folks! I Love 💕 them and miss them dearly! Thank You for your wonderful stories y’all!

If you’ve listened to the last episode of season 3, we’re on hiatus between seasons. We do this every year while we work on other projects like the national tour we start this week. If you want more content now, you can check out our Patreon. We have no intention of quitting. This is how we (Steve and Cam) make our living.
